A good friend of mine suggested to me that I start a social photography Internet-based service where a person can go to get high-quality affordable head shots. I ran the idea across another good friend who is a web designer, he thought that sounded like a great idea. The web designer and I are now working together on a website that we created together called Look Fine Online (www.lookfineonline.com). His name is Keith Sales, together we recently launched our new venture. Please go to www.lookfineonline.com and see our new website. Then come back and comment on it, tell us the good the bad and the ugly about it, and we’ll tweak it until you like it.

Sometimes when you see a clients name show up on your phone when it rings, you know its going to be a good call. I have a client like that by the name of Tom George (www.tgyg.com) He’s a boat broker. Not just any boat broker, a big boat boat broker. I recently shot a Hatteras in West Palm Beach FL near Peanut Island for him. The boat is called ORION, its for sale if any of you rich friends want to buy it. Please see more of my work at www.kovich.com

What a great client! I’ve been working with Edward Jones for a few years now and feel so lucky to know the Edward Jones creative team! You can see quite a few Edward Jones photos on my web site www.kovich.com. We tend to shoot in some GREAT locations. This location happens to be in my home town of St. Petersburg FL.

The below link is to a teaser 1080p video I shot during the still shoot. I used HMI lighting (which is a continuous light source used in cinema) for the whole shoot. By doing so I was able to shoot video of every scene as well as stills. Have a look!

The great thing about a photographers blog is that its about photography so you don’t have to say much… I will say that Jack Morton World Wide is a great client! I’ll also say that photographing a President is a very cool experience!
